After taking a well deserved hiatus for the last 6 years to experience motherhood Eva is now accepting scripts again.
We fell in love with Eva while sharing the screen beside phenomenal actors like Denzel Washington, Will Smith and Ice Cube…with many other mainstream talents, too numerous to include.
Her acting skills gave her such credibility in her acting roles whether playing the vixen, the coy girl next door, the sexy side chic or the determined detective fighting against crime.
At the top of her career Eva Mendes , 46 years of age surprised her fans by falling in love with actor Ryan Gosling, 39 after starring in the 2011 film ” A Place Behind The Pines” and becoming a mom for their two beautiful daughters 6 year old Esmerelda and 4 year old Amada.
Between her years of dedication of being a stay a home mom she was able to create and design her successful clothing line for New York and Company clothing stores namely “Eva Mendes” exclusively at New York & Company ”
“I applaud and look up to those women who can do it all , but I’m not one of them,” she explained. “Thankfully I have that choice not to work and I realize how fortunate I am that it’s been a choice.”
“I’ve been so happy to be able to incubate with my babies, but now they are four and six, I’m starting to feel like my ambition is coming back,” she continued.
The Hitch star confided that amid the coronavirus pandemic life has been solely about Ryan Gosling and their children.
“Sometimes it feels like we are running some kind of bed and breakfast with very drunk and aggressive guests,” she shared jokingly.”
“When we feel like we’re just in it like all parents during these times, we remind ourselves that these are the good times, because we’re all together and we’re all safe right now,” she says.
Earlier this year in an interview with ET Mendes did mention the one role she’d strongly consider returning to the film industry for would be Disney.
“I’m basically like, ‘Disney, I’m all yours Disney,” explaining that she’s become more extreme with her roles after becoming a mom.
A message to Eva from her die hard fans, we’re hoping Disney has a script ready that includes a little Dirty South with a side of Ms. Mendes.
